Your character's weight is determined during character creation and is based on a combination of your character's height and physique up to a maximum of 283 lbs or 128 kg at 85 inches and the heaviest physique as a Kaumo and a minimum of 75 lbs or 34 kg at 49 inches and the lightest physique as a member of the Seal-Tribe.

Worn armours and clothes cause an encumbrance penalty only after their total weight exceeds one tenth of the character's weight. For example: a 160 lbs character can wear 16 lbs worth of armours and clothes without any penalty from them besides the increased fatigue gained from carrying more than 0 weight while working.

A character's weight limit is a function of the character's body weight.

Like animals, your weight (being the final indicator of your overall size) may affect how difficult you are to hit with ranged and melee attacks as a separate factor from your dodge skill, how much damage you can sustain before it it kills you, and how easy it is for you to cross thin ice. It may also affect the impact value of your unarmed attacks.
